KATHLEEN E. WILCOX, Senior Associate

Ms. Wilcox is an experienced civil litigator in Ericksen Arbuthnot's Los Angeles office. Her practice areas include general liability, medical malpractice and broker liability.

Kathy has significant experience with depositions, trial preparation and strategy development, along with trial experience. She has successfully defended well known hotels and Fortune 500 companies in trial. She enjoys the adversarial process and the knowledge she has acquired from her litigation practice.

She is a member of the Advisory Board at Fremont College, an ABA approved paralegal college in Cerritos, CA, where she teaches Torts, as well as Legal Research and Writing, Levels One and Two. She has incorporated the mechanics of litigation into her courses.

She holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. She completed law school in two years while working full-time. She received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure and tutored other students in contracts. She received her B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego-Revelle College.

In her spare time, Kathy enjoys long distance walking, the arts, working on stained glass projects and volunteering as a podiatric assistant in the care and treatment of the elderly and infirmed at various skilled nursing facilities.
