NORMA P. CHAVEZ, Partner
Norma's practice includes employment law, real estate litigation, construction litigation, high exposure personal injury matters and property damage matters, construction site accidents, premises liability and toxic torts.
She has represented real estate professionals in various types of litigation. She has also represented general contractors and sub-contractors in complex construction litigation involving multi-tract residential developments and single family homes. She has represented high level executives in cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets and federal computer fraud.
Norma is currently a member of the Latina Business Women's Association, the California Minority Counsel Program, the California Hispanic Corporate Counsel Leadership Institute, and is on the founding committee for the Wellesley College Hispanic Networking Association. She is also on the Board of Directors for the East Los Angeles YMCA Weingart Center.
She has five children, including two sets of twins. She dedicates her spare time to her children and their various activities. Norma speaks fluent Italian and Spanish and enjoys traveling with her family, particularly Europe. She also enjoys gourmet cooking, baking, collecting wine and walking.
