Heather L. Caughron

Heather L. Caughron is an Associate in the firm’s Oakland/East Bay office. She practices employment, real estate, construction defect, environmental and personal injury law. Heather is experienced in handling all phases of litigation, including conducting complex discovery and extensive law and motion work, as well as negotiating formal and informal settlements.
Heather has a B.A. degree in Philosophy and French from Wellesley College, and obtained her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Heather was the Staff and Senior Symposium Editor for the Constitutional Law Quarterly and won an honorable mention for Best Moot Court Brief. She co-founded and served as Vice President of the Hastings Government Law Organization.
Prior to joining the firm, Heather worked as a Hastings Bridge Fellow for the Santa Clara County Public Defender and for the San Francisco and Alameda County Public Defender Offices.
