Tom is an Associate in the firm’s Concord office. He has extensive experience handling various types of personal injury cases, including premises liability and commercial automobile cases on behalf of commercial landlords, non-profit organizations, health and fitness clubs, and public entities. In addition to personal injury claims, Tom’s practice involves real estate litigation, often representing landlords, developers, homeowners’ associations, and tenant groups. Tom handles all phases of litigation, from pre-suit matters, to trials, and even through appeals. Prior to joining Ericksen Arbuthnot, Tom worked in employment law helping prosecute large employment class actions. He is also experienced in defending class action litigation.
While in law school at the University of San Francisco, Tom clerked for the USF Investor Justice Clinic where he represented defrauded senior citizens in F.I.N.R.A. arbitrations against securities brokers. Tom was also a former research intern for the National Assembly Research Service in Seoul, South Korea where he conducted research on behalf of the South Korean National Assembly. During his time in South Korea, Tom was also an English teacher for E. Bo. Young’s English School.
