Practice Group

Joe Mkryan is an associate in the Los Angeles Firm. His practice focuses primarily on insurance coverage.


Mr. Mkryan earned a B.A. in History from University of California, Berkeley where he was a writer for the Berkeley Political Review.  Mr. Mkryan subsequently earned a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where he was a senior associate for the Journal of International Law.  During law school, he interned for the National Labor Relations Board where he investigated unfair labor practice charges by interviewing witnesses and analyzing supporting evidence and prepared reports to the Board with recommendations for appropriate handling or disposing of charges. 


Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Mkryan represented small business owners and individuals at a real estate and business litigation firm where he participated in all phases of litigation as plaintiffs’ and defendants’ counsel, helping to litigate cases from inception to summary judgment, trial or settlement.  He has represented small business owners and individuals in complex cases involving negligence, fraud, quiet title, breach of fiduciary duty, officer and director liability, contracts and various other matters.  He has experience serving as second chair at trial.


In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, taking long walks and reading political articles and journals.
