L. Trevor Grimm

L. Trevor Grimm is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Ericksen Arbuthnot and has been practicing law since 1996. He focuses on the areas of wrongful death, complex business litigation, premises liability, real estate, professional liability, automobile accidents and governmental entity defense practicing in both Federal and State courts. He has tried in excess of 20 civil trials to verdict.  Notably, in a highly publicized 2004 breach of contract case, he obtained an $8.5 million settlement followed by a jury verdict in excess of $22.5 million.

Prior to joining the firm, Trevor worked as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office trying more than 25 criminal cases to verdict. Subsequently, he defended general civil liability and police liability cases for the City of Los Angeles and in private practice where he achieved partnership in 2004.

Trevor received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (1995) and his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Colorado.  He was named a 2005 Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in a state.  In 2015, he was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates.
