Reginaldo Villarreal joined Ericksen Arbuthnot in February 2021. Mr. Villarreal was admitted to the State Bar of California in July 2018 after graduating from Lincoln Law School of San Jose. Mr. Villarreal’s practice includes state court litigation, trademark prosecution, family law and debt collection.
Mr. Villarreal received his Bachelor of Science from San José State University in Aviation Operations, with a minor in Business, in 2009. As an undergraduate, he was a member of Gamma Zeta Alpha, a Latino-interest fraternity. During law school, Mr. Villarreal was the recipient of the Robert S. Kieve Foundation Scholarship Award, and was an Editor for the Lincoln Law Review. When not attending class, Mr. Villarreal volunteered as a Mentoring Attorney for the Santa Clara County Peer Court, a juvenile diversion program of the probation department. Mr. Villarreal is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and previously participated in the SCCBA Barristers’ Leadership Program.
Before joining Ericksen Arbuthnot, Reginaldo Villarreal specialized in debt collection and banking compliance. Mr. Villarreal represented Capital One, Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Citibank and Portfolio Recovery Associates.
Mr. Villarreal lives with his wife, Pamela, in San José. During his free time, Mr. Villarreal enjoys baseball, cooking, hiking, and playing the accordion.
